About me

A truly international academic leader with a well proven track record in research and significant management expertise in higher education. As an academic research economist I have published extensively on the topics of innovation, R&D cooperation and research joint ventures, technology and environmental policies in international refereed journals. I have been a member of the Economics Learning Standards Working Party commissioned by the Australian government to develop new learning standards for Economics Bachelor and Masters degrees.

A multilingual native of Corfu, I am a graduate of the University of Bristol where I earned my PhD in 1994. I have held positions at the University of St Andrews, University of Nottingham, University of Bristol, Loughborough University and La Trobe University.

Specialities: Industrial organization (industrial economics), economics of innovation, technology and environmental policy; change management, conflict resolution; multilingual (English, Greek, French, Italian and German).

Non academic interests:

Aviation, Photography, Alpine skiing, Sailing and Pugs.
